Our product comprises of Polypodium Leucotomos, Zinc, Vitamin C and Picrorhiza kurroa. It is used for the treatment of inflammation and a variety of skin ailments including psoriasis, vitiligo (the loss of pigment in patches of the skin), atopic dermatitis (eczema: inflammation of the skin), and melasma (over-pigmented patches of dark skin). It also serves as a protectant against sunburn (solar erythema) and helps prevent and relieve polymorphous light eruption (PMLE). Zinc is a natural, physical sun screening agent that sits on our skin reflecting both UVA and UVB rays. UVA rays (also known as the silent wrinkler) can do deeper level damage at the cell level and can be responsible for skin ageing and wrinkling.

Indications & Usage:

About Composition:

Polypodium Leucotomos:
Polypodium leucotomos have antioxidant effects. Antioxidants prevent damage caused by excessive sun exposure .It has also been shown to reduce the skin darkening that occurs in some people undergoing UV treatments for certain skin conditions. PL is an effective chemophotoprotector against PUVA (Psolaren induced UVA)-induced skin photo toxicity and leads to substantial benefits of skin protection against damaging effects of PUVA.

Zinc:
It is a safer sunscreen ingredient. Zinc has been found to offer protection against "broad spectrum ultraviolet rays" (UVA/UVB), which is not always the case with chemical sunscreens that only block one type of UV light. Zinc is a natural, physical sun screening agent that sits on our skin reflecting both UVA and UVB rays. UVA rays (also known as the silent wrinkler) can do deeper level damage at the cell level and can be responsible for skin ageing and wrinkling.

Vitamin C:
Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that removes free radicals, which are unstable molecules that steal electrons from healthy molecules in order to reach equilibrium. Unchecked, free radicals cause significant tissue damage and contribute to dry skin and premature wrinkling (and cancer). Skin's exposure to the sun's UV rays produces significant free radicals in the skin (UVB rays nearer the skin's surface and UVA rays deeper within the skin). This occurs even more in the winter, when you're less likely to use sunscreen while exposed to the sun. Vitamin C has also been found to help even out skin tone and reduce the appearance of under-eye circles. This is great for those who are tired of trying to conceal the dark circles under their eyes and want to enjoy a more youthful, bright, and vibrant appearance. In addition to improving your skin's overall complexion, vitamins C can brighten otherwise dull skin, allowing it to look healthier and more vibrant. Strong concentrations of this vitamin leave the skin looking and feeling replenished and revitalized.

Picrorhiza Kurroa:
It is also used to treat skin conditions including eczema and vitiligo, a disorder that causes white patches on the skin.
